The safe and legally compliant operation of ships requires in-depth expertise - not only in the engine room, but at all levels of ship operation.
With our specialized training courses, we provide practical know-how on environmental regulations such as the ballast water guidelines or the Vessel General Permit (VGP) and other international
requirements.
Whether you are an owner, shipping company, crew or authority - our training courses are tailored to your needs and create confidence in dealing with the daily requirements.
This ensures that you remain in control - both during inspections and in day-to-day operations.
We have many years of experience in dealing with ballast water systems and in advising our customers. We attach great importance to tailoring the training content to the wishes and needs of each customer - because we know that no two ships, crews and treatment systems are the same.
Our trainings include:
The ballast water topics mentioned here are just examples of the direction in which a training course can be thematically orientated.
We will discuss in advance exactly which focus we should cover in your respective training course so that you receive exactly the content that is relevant for you and your team.
The length of the training courses depends primarily on the content requested by the customer. Our experience shows that a well-structured training session for owners, quality officers or
authorities should last around three to four hours in order to provide sufficient time for questions.
Crew training sessions on board should not last longer than 90 minutes.
We organise the training courses at the customer's premises, at freely chosen venues or directly on board. We also offer online training if it is not possible to hold a training course in
person.
In general, the number of participants depends on the target group and the desired content. We have already organised training courses with 10, but also with 20 to 30 participants.
Just ask us and we will find the right number of participants for you.
After completing a training course, each participant receives a certificate with the respective training content and the time units used. This means that the certificates are also suitable for providing evidence to the authorities.
