From development and optimisation to approval

Ankron supports a treatment system manufacturer from development and optimisation to the final product on board. The project start was as an investigation on some deviations on a large installation on a cruise vessel.

In the follow up the treatment process was optimised and a Type Approval now also including section 4.2 (resolution MEPC.227(64)) for ships intending to discharge sewage effluent in Special Areas was made.

Finally the new approved system was installed, started up and tested on board a vessel.
